She is roughly 5 years old*

She was caught using a trap set by a bylaw in Melville along with her 5 babies*

Karen doesn’t like people and doesn’t like being around people*

Big or small, male or female, she just doesn’t like them*

She is a great mama and loves her babies very much, looks after them even though they are all grown*

But she cowers, hisses, and attacks any human that comes near her*

We do not know her history or why she is the way she is*

She isn’t wild*

She knew how to use a litterbox when she came into rescue and what wet food, treats, and kibble was*

But she distrusts all humans who have come into contact with her and doesn’t seem to want to change that viewpoint any time soon*

She wouldn’t be suited to be a family cat but maybe a working cat with a warm place to feel safe in*
