Personality and Unique Traits
Shamus came into rescue with his brother, Finnegan, at just 6 weeks old and was extremely underweight. He received all the food and love he needed and deserved, growing into the big, healthy boy he is today. Shamus is active, curious, and a lot of fun to play with. He loves to cuddle with his foster family, including both people and animals.
When meeting new kittens at the adoption centre, Shamus can be a little defensive. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body—he is simply nervous and pretends to act tough when meeting new animals. If his new family already has pets, he may need a little time to slowly adjust to his new environment. He eats hard kibble, is litter trained, and would be an entertaining addition to a family.
