Personality and Unique Traits
Snickers is a 5-year-old tortoiseshell with beautiful medium length fur. She lived with two other cats her entire life and would likely do fine with another cat-friendly cat.
She does not like kids, so a home with no kids or older kids that understand her is essential. Snickers can be very sweet one minute and give you major torti-tude the next, so please only apply with the understanding that it may take her months to warm up to you, and that she may always prefer to do this on her own terms (this includes swatting your hand away when she’s had enough pets). Snickers belonged to an older, semi-retired gentleman who was able to spend a lot of time with her, and someone with a similar lifestyle would be a great choice for her.
Snickers has changed so much in the last couple months and is really such a sweetheart now. Snickers takes beautiful care of her longer fur and I’ve yet to find a mat. She has the entire shop to herself now and much prefers it over having to share a house with others cats – she may be okay with another super chill cat (mine are not) but we know for sure that she prefers a quieter environment. Snickers loves to snuggle. She’ll lay right across your chest and nap for as long as you let her. She meows and meows at you until you give in and sit down to cuddle her. She’s never really been around dogs so it’s hard to say exactly how she’d react. She grew up with 2 other cats but seems to stress over cats she’s not familiar with.
