Manatee is a beautiful, high-energy Retriever–Husky mix with just one speed go, go, go! She came into rescue with her mom, Coral, and her siblings when they were only a day old. Now, everyone except Manatee and her sister Stingray have found their forever families. These two girls are still waiting for the perfect people to see how special they are.
Manatee is an energetic young lady who thrives in an active environment. She would not be suitable for a home with little children, as she tends to jump and may nip when she becomes overly excited. An experienced or active family who can help her positively channel her energy would be the ideal match.
She absolutely loves attention and cuddles even if her excitement means the cuddles don’t last long before she zooms off again. Manatee listens well and shows impressive patience during mealtimes. She waits for her turn without bothering anyone else and happily devours her food once given the go-ahead. She loves treats and sturdy toys, as she can easily shred and swallow softer ones. Manatee is also currently working on her housetraining.
