Personality and Unique Traits

Hi everyone, my name is Annie. My foster mom and dad call me Annie Bannanie. I am the proud mamma of 10 beautiful puppies that you have already met: Tank, Miley, Scout, Cooter, Jed, Reggie, Austin, Violet, Ellie Mae, and Rosie. They are a handful, but my foster mom and dad tell me I did a great job with them.

We were brought into rescue when my pups were about three weeks old. You may remember some very embarrassing pictures of me with no hair on my back end, but I can assure you it is all grown back in and everyone says I look fantastic. Truth be told, I am feeling fantastic. I have lots of room to run and play with my foster brothers and sisters. We have a pretty good time, but it would be nice to have a family of my own. Foster mom and dad are great, but there are a lot of us and I think I would enjoy more cuddle time.

We have lots of squirrels where I live right now, so I spend lots of my day making sure they stay up in the trees where they belong. My pups and I go for little walks and play in the yard, and I like to watch them play in their pool and on their splash pad.

Temperament and Behaviour

Foster mom says I am a very gentle soul. I love to go for walks and explore the yard. I like to chase squirrels but have not managed to catch one yet.

Foster dad says I’m pretty smart and I learned my name really quick. He says I’m a good girl when I come when he calls me, even if it takes a little bit because I’m really focused on those squirrels. My foster mom and dad always get so excited to see me and tell me what a good girl I am. I like that!

I like spending my days outside even though I can go inside anytime I want because we have a fancy door just for us. It’s great, especially when mom is busy and I need to pee or that pesky squirrel comes to visit on the deck.

We don’t have any little humans at my foster’s house, just big kids, so I don’t get to spend a lot of time with little people, so we aren’t sure yet how I will do. My foster parents think I will be a great family dog though because I’m gentle and sweet.

At our house we also have some cats. They are chill for the most part. Foster mom and dad watch me close sometimes because I do like to chase them up the trees. They look like big fluffy squirrels, so we aren’t 100% sure how I am going to be with cats.

As much as I love my foster family, I cannot wait to have a family of my own!
